Remote Alarm by CB Radio

In 2001 the ACA set aside CB channels 22 and 23 for monitoring purposes. Our CB-MONITOR system makes use of this facility with relatively low-cost 5W hand-held CB radios.    Conditions can be set to enable an intermittent alarm signal to be transmitted by the CB radio. Multiple stations can be monitored, each with their own unique alarm tone code. The system can be used with water tank float level switch, electric fence monitor, flood sensor etc. Solar powered with backup battery.

Typical 5-15km range. Solar power with robust enclosure and antenna. Price includes LCD receiver with display facility for up to 8 water level sensors. Can also be used to monitor flow rate, soil moisture, rainfall, electric fence etc. PC software for data display also available. Optional remote control of pumps, motors etc can be included in custom-built systems
